Quotations and Estimates

Any quotations provided are based on the information available at the time. In some cases, further work may be required once a full inspection of the system or property has been carried out.

If additional work is required beyond the original quotation, we will discuss this with you before proceeding.

Quotations may have an expiry period and are subject to change if circumstances or material costs change.

Booking and Appointments

Appointments can be made via phone, WhatsApp, website forms, or other communication channels.

While we aim to attend at the agreed time, arrival times may vary due to emergency call-outs, traffic, or delays on previous jobs.

We will make reasonable efforts to notify you if we are running late.

Call-Out Charges

Certain services may include a call-out charge depending on the nature of the work and the location.

Emergency or out-of-hours call-outs may incur additional charges. These will be communicated where possible before work begins.

Payments

Payment for services is due upon completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in advance.

We may accept payment via bank transfer, card payment, or other methods communicated at the time of service.

For larger projects or installations, a deposit may be required before work begins.

Failure to make payment within the agreed time may result in additional charges or recovery action.

Boiler Cover Plans

If you are enrolled in a boiler cover plan, the following conditions may apply:

Boiler cover only applies to the boiler and components included within the cover agreement

Regular servicing may be required to maintain cover eligibility

Boiler cover does not include pre-existing faults that were present before the agreement started

Certain parts or major system replacements may not be covered under standard plans

Full details of cover limits, exclusions, and service frequency will be provided when a cover plan is arranged.

Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for ensuring that:

Safe and reasonable access is provided to the property and equipment

Relevant utilities such as electricity, gas, or water are available if required for the work

Pets are secured where necessary to allow work to be carried out safely

If access cannot be gained at the arranged appointment time, a call-out fee may still apply.

Guarantees and Workmanship

We take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.

Where applicable, guarantees may be provided on labour or parts supplied. The length of any guarantee will depend on the type of work carried out.

Guarantees do not apply where damage or faults occur due to misuse, lack of maintenance, external factors, or third-party interference.

Liability

Clyde Pro Plumbing & Heating will not be held responsible for:

Pre-existing faults within plumbing or heating systems

Damage caused by ageing systems or hidden defects

Indirect or consequential losses resulting from plumbing or heating failures

Our liability will not exceed the value of the work carried out.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide as much notice as possible.

Late cancellations may result in a call-out charge, particularly where travel or scheduling commitments have already been made.
